About Us
At Continued Stay, we offer assisted living services in a residential home, instead of an institution. Many seniors are moving away from the extensive facilities to small family-oriented assisted living homes in the community. The big facilities are too big. Most times it is hard to get around and it’s hard for someone to hear you when you call for assistance. Here at Continued Stay, we have created a smaller environment that feels like home with caregivers just around the corner waiting to assist you.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a home where seniors who can no longer live safely and independently in their homes can live and receive personalized care with activities of daily living.

Our vision is to provide a home where older adults can continue to stay even as their level of self-care care increases, without having to move to a nursing home.
What sets us apart from the big assisted living institutions and other residential care homes? Our staff includes a state licensed and board certified occupational therapist who provides facility oversight and training. Our “Continued Stay” motto means that we strive to adjust the level of care as your care needs increase so that you do not have to relocate again. We create a beautiful resident and family experience with open communication and transparency in our services. We are an assisted living in a home, not an institution and we treat our residents like family.
Our Leaders
Continued Stay’s leadership includes a Doctor of Occupational Therapy, with many years of experience in long-term care, and a Long-Term Care Administrator. Together with our staff, bring knowledge, experience, passion, and love to help older adults age in place without moving elsewhere.
Our Homes
Continued Stay homes are one-story single-family homes in nice residential neighbourhoods. We focus on size – all our homes are designed to house only four residents so that each resident has the immediate attention of our caregiving staff 24/7 for both scheduled and unscheduled tasks. Our caregiver is always close by to help.
Safety
Resident safety is our number one priority here at Continued Stay. Our environment is designed for the optimal functioning of the residents. There is enough space for residents to move around with or without mobility devices. Our high staff-to-resident ratio also ensures around-the-clock monitoring of the residents.
Convenience
Continued Stay assisted living homes are conveniently located in residential neighborhoods. It feels like home every time you visit us. Social and physical activities are set up in the living room close to the residents’ bedroom. We ensure easy access to other areas of the home to complete ADLs.
Continued Stay
Continued Stay is your home now. We want you to stay with us for as long as you wish, and we promise to live by our name – Continued Stay! This means, if your physical health declines and your level of care increases, we will discuss the best strategy to continue to assist you here. We do not want you to move to a nursing home.
Our Single-Family Homes
We have all one-story single-family homes for easy access by the residents. Most importantly, we specialize in having only four residents in our assisted living homes. We strive to keep the caregiver-to-resident ratio at one caregiver to at most four residents. This helps our homes remain homey and our caregivers with no more than what they can handle. We are changing the industry and running away from the big assisted living models where one caregiver is assigned up to 10-15 residents a day. At Continued Stay Residential Care Homes, we keep it small, simple, and satisfying.
Our Staff
We have a great staff to always care for our residents. Our caregivers are experienced and fully embedded in Continued Stay’s culture of providing only the best care. We have an occupational therapist on board to ensure best practices in performing activities of daily living. Our administrator specialises in long-term care administration and management. We also always have a nurse on call.
Amenities & Activities
We pride ourselves in making our residential care homes feel less like a facility and more like homes. We provide three delicious meals a day. We promote wellness and physical activities for our residents such as group exercises, music therapy, pet therapy, and simple yoga. We also promote socialisation by bringing the residents together in the living room, playing board games, and bingo, watching movies and celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. We have outings to restaurants, grocery stores, and recreation parks. Our large backyard provides plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors and comfortable seating areas. We understand that not all the residents can participate in these activities, but our goal is “no senior left behind.” We will try to include every resident in our homes as much as possible.
Visiting Hours
We encourage families and friends to visit our residents and spend as much time as possible with them. This is good for their well-being. However, we prefer visitations between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Before 9:00 AM, we are focused on getting our residents out of bed, performing their self-care, feeding them breakfast, and administering their medications. Meanwhile, after 5:00 PM we start eating dinner, perform all self-care, administer medications, and prepare for bed. These times allow enough time for our caregiving staff to take good care of our residents.
Room Options
Each of our residential care homes have both private and shared rooms. Our private rooms can conveniently accommodate couples. Our shared rooms can only accommodate two residents.
Assisted living can be expensive. Therefore, here at Continued Stay, we strive to be transparent with our prices. The prices here are just to give you an idea of what to expect to pay at one of our residential care homes. We give you good prices for even better services.
